This is a new piece. The glass curve measures approximately 17 x15cm.

I made this using clear glass and kiln firing enamels onto the surface. Each piece requires three overnight firings.

I’m often asked for designs featuring the Hoy Hills so this is a current idea.

The squishy sky will be hard to replicate so this version will be a one of a kind original. I will make the design again but the sky will likely be different.

The image I used was taken by my good friend Jo when she was last up in Orkney.
