The glass curve measures approximately 29 x 12 cm.

This is an updated design I’ve made a few times before.  I use clear glass and paint the design in three to four stages with high and low fire enamels.

Each separate firing will take 12 hours to complete and is required to seal each stage in the development. Once the layer is kiln fired it is permanent  and allows you to work on the subsequent stages.

The layers add depth of colour, texture and detail to the glass. The final stage includes slumping the (flat) glass over a ceramic mould.

Each piece produced is unique and completely hand made for you.

All my work is created in my studio Ingaskeldt in  beautiful Orkney.
