An updated piece to the Lighting Collection. This addition is a little different from other versions of this design.  The glass is shot with whites, greys and a grey/blue base.

The images show the table lamp on and off.

The glass measures 29 x12cm approximately plus the custom made wooden base. I made this using clear glass and fired it with enamels. This piece requires 3 separate firings to achieve the depth of colour and the detail. The final firing also incorporates the glass being slumped over a ceramic mould to create the curve.

The curved glass is then delivered to Dave the local craftsman who will make the curve fit exactly into the wooden base. The routed curved base is painted sanded and sealed with lacquer, a light is fitted with a cable and plug.

This piece would enhance any home and is made in my studio Ingaskeldt in beautiful Orkney.
