A favourite design in a dynamic shape with slightly bolder enamel colourings.

There are two different pieces shown in the gallery slides. Both variations let you see how different the pieces can be.

This piece measures 25 x 19cm at its widest points.

I made this design using clear glass and fired the surface three times in the kiln.

The bases for the new style grasses are broader and made of yew. The forward edge is wavy and the wood has beautiful  wavy grain and colour change which I feel mimics the seashore and the tide.  I will post the glass with the base detached. You will need to screw the two fasteners to the panel securely being careful not over tighten it- or you might have a mosaic.
