Description
This piece measures 53 x 46 cm. including the frame.
The design features Copinsay Island in the distance viewed from Deerness mainland.
I made this using clear glass and kiln fired the glass with enamels. The design requires three separate firings to achieve the depth of colour and detail.
The glass is framed in a large distressed dark wood moulding.
The backing to the glass is gold and the clear moon shines as gold.
