Description
This wee dish measures approximately 8 x 8 cms.
The wee oystercatcher is hand painted with enamels. It requires three firings to complete the design.
Each piece will be different as they are made individually. The colours will vary too as the enamels are mixed ( much like watercolours) and I might use different quantities of pigment.
The little square of clear glass, with its fired bird has a final visit to the kiln to bend the the flat glass into a mould. The result is a curved dish with a flat bottom.
The dish is packed in a wee box that includes a card explaining how the dish is made.
